Changing Magnetic Field Causes a Current to Flow

The demonstration is short and does not have a great deal of depth. All it shows is that a moving magnetic field creates a force that causes charges in the copper wire to move.

The explanation of how a torsion balance works is simplistic and could therefore form the basis of a student internet search and perhaps the students could even try and build one for themselves.
